Matthew and colleague Omer Gokcumen were the featured speakers at the Not on the Syllabus event organized by the dedicated staff of the department. The two of them talked about what brought them to science, their mentors, challenges they encountered on the way. And somebody spent a lot of time talking about playing computer games. There were lots of great questions from the students that attended, and there was lots of pizza! Hope our perspectives were useful!
