Matthew revisits NS&B
Matthew recently participated in the Biology of Hearing and Balance course at Woods Hole, which was held in the same building as the Neural Systems and Behavior course that Matthew TA'd for about 30 years ago. The course pictures were good for a game of "Name That Neuroethologist!"

Matthew and Sydney at Woods Hole
Matthew and Sydney trekked to the Marine Biological Lab in Woods Hole, MA, to participate in the Biology of Hearing and Balance course. Sydney demonstrated recordings of synaptic activity from neurons in the cochlear nucleus. In this picture, she is showing slicing techniques to (CW) Trinity, Camila, Lucia, Afagh, and Celine. What a whirlwind of a week!

Sammy presents her work
Sammy showed a poster of her work with the lab during the summer REU program, "The impact of noise exposure on vesicle recovery kinetics". This was a great way to cap off a great summer! Way to go, Sammy!
