Again with the CSHL
Matthew went to CSHL for his annual lecture in the Ion Channels course. Alas, flights between BUF and JFK were cancelled, so he had to drive, which meant an abbreviated visit. It was great all the same, and lots of students had good luck recording mEPSCs. Not to be taken for granted. Here's to hoping for better Thorlabs setups next year!

Cornell reunion!
Cornell's Neurobiology and Behavior held a reunion that Rufeng and Matthew couldn't attend. Even better, Satoshi Amagai (formerly HHMI) and Paul Faure (McMaster U) swung by the Xu-Friedman abode, and we had a great, long chat revisiting old times and catching up. And it is always fun to go to Anderson's (with Valerie) !
