Matthew participated in the Ion Channels course again this year. He gave a teaching lecture about synaptic physiology, and also a science lecture about work going on in the lab. It was a very dedicated group of students, who were up to 1 AM making recordings from Purkinje cells. Always a great experience.

Matthew visited NYU to give a talk entitled "Synaptic and Intrinsic Adaptations for Enhancing Reliability in an Auditory Relay". He was hosted by fellow Regehr lab alum Adam Carter, and it was fun to catch up. Matthew also got to meet with several faculty doing really exciting work.
